News from the slopes

CairnGorm Mountain from the air 9 February 2009

High winds this morning eased and then dropped off allowing the Cas tow to open. Good spring snow sports with sunshine during the afternoon. Tomorrow's forecast is 40 to 50 gusting 70 MPH north westerly winds which is likely to effect surface lifts. Constant snowfall in the morning above 600m turning to snow showers later. The temperature will be around 0C.
